This was a wedding of firsts for the 3rd Street Films crew. And I’m sure you can guess from the title they involved flower cannons and a flash mob.
They ceremony was held at St. Scholastica, which is very special to Kristi’s family. She was baptized there and her father attended the church growing up. Another special addition was the Vanguard Voices choir, and when they sang the Hallelujah Chorus, Kristi and Josh kissed and the flower cannons went off. As you can see in the trailer it was pretty spectacular.
To keep the surprises coming, at the end of the cocktail hour a Wayne State dance crew busted into a flash mob on the first floor of the Detroit Athletic Club and danced their way up the stairs to the ballroom.
With over 11 years in the business I thought I saw it all until Kristi and Josh pulled off two really exciting additions to their wedding day. I think we sometimes fall into the mindset that weddings have to be completely serious and reserved, but Kristi and Josh show that you can mix crazy fun and serious together to make an awesome event!
